This register publishes photographs of real streets and names the authority responsible for each road. If we have got something wrong, we would rather hear it from you than not.
Things worth writing about
- A photo that should not be up. Faces and number plates are blurred automatically before publication, and automatically is not the same as always. If something identifiable got through, tell us and we will take it down.
- A report on the wrong authority. Whether a road belongs to a council or to the Department is worked out from map data, and the boundary is not always where the data says it is.
- A road that has been repaired. Any report page takes a one-tap "it's been fixed", which is faster than writing — but if that is wrong or will not work, this reaches us.
- You are a council or road authority. We would like the register to be useful to you, and we will act on corrections.
This is not the way to report a pothole to anyone who can fix it. Filing a report here puts it on the public record and hands you through to the road authority's own channel — start a report instead. For a hazard that is dangerous right now, call the Department on 13 11 70.
